Villa Sandra Guesthouse

Villa Sandra is a small, locally owned backpackers guesthouse about a five-minute walk from Bounty Beach, billed as the island's first backpackers place and an eco-friendly stay. It has native bungalows with shared bathrooms, private balcony rooms and concrete dormitories, plus a shared kitchen, hammocks and vegetarian restaurant. Note: it has also operated under the name Villa-Atlas Guesthouse under newer management.

Getting to Daanbantayan

Take a bus marked Maya or Daanbantayan to Maya Port at the northern tip of the island.

Malapascua Island is part of Daanbantayan — everything on the island is reached on foot or by boat.
