Cancalanog Falls (also spelled Cangkalanog) is a hidden gem located in Alegria, about 50 minutes from Moalboal. This lesser-known waterfall shares the same river system as Kawasan Falls and offers a beautiful blue lagoon experience without the crowds. The falls feature incredibly clear, transparent freshwater in a stunning natural pool - the water clarity here is exceptional even by Cebu standards. The surrounding canyon creates a dramatic backdrop, with lush vegetation framing the cascade. Cancalanog remains off the beaten path, making it perfect for travelers seeking a more peaceful waterfall experience away from the tourist crowds.

- 1Not well marked on GPS - look for signs about 20 minutes before Cambais Falls. Bring cash as facilities are basic. Great to combine with Cambais Falls visit.
How to Get There
From Moalboal, head south towards Alegria (about 50 minutes). The falls are located between Kawasan Falls and Cambais Falls. Look for signs on the left side of the road.
