The overview
About Ka-Tinggo Falls
Ka-Tinggo Falls is a quieter alternative to Cebu's more famous waterfalls, tucked inside a canyon in the uplands of Barangay Duyan near the Esoy Hot Spring complex. The falls drop about four meters into a deep plunge pool set against canyon walls, with clear, cool water fed from mountain sources. Access typically runs through Esoy Hot Spring: visitors cross a small hanging bridge and follow a roughly 10-minute trail to reach the falls. The pool is deep enough for swimming and cliff jumping in places, and the surrounding canyon has small caves and coves that guides can point out along the way. Compared to Kawasan Falls or other well-trodden Cebu waterfalls, Ka-Tinggo is markedly quieter, making it a good pick for travelers who want a swim without the crowds, particularly on weekday mornings.
