Udlom Falls
One of Cebu's tallest waterfalls, fed by a cave source, reached via a rugged trail in Barangay Lamac's Hidden Valley.
The overview
About Udlom Falls
Udlom Falls lies in the Hidden Valley area of Barangay Lamac, about 11 kilometers from the Lamac town proper, and is counted among the tallest waterfalls on Cebu island. What sets it apart is its source: the water emerges from a cave, giving the falls a mysterious quality rarely seen at other Cebu cascades, then winds down an irregular path before settling into a pool at the base. Getting there involves a real trek. Visitors take a Toledo-bound bus from Cebu City and get off at a stop known locally as Lutupan Ladingan, then continue by habal-habal toward Hidden Valley, before finishing the approach on foot through bushes and rocky paths. The reward is a swimmable pool at the base of the falls and a genuinely remote, forested setting. Because the falls and its cave source are part of a working hill trail rather than a maintained park, conditions can change with the weather, and there's no fixed infrastructure on site.
