Anjo World Theme Park
About Anjo World Theme Park
Anjo World Theme Park is an amusement park inside Belmont One, a mixed-use development in Barangay Calajo-an, Minglanilla. Billed as Cebu's first theme park and the largest in the Visayas, it opened in December 2018 and covers about 1.5 hectares divided into four themed zones: Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe. The park runs more than a dozen rides and attractions, including the Anjo Eye Ferris wheel, the Pharaoh spinning coaster, Boomerang, a Tower Drop, bumper boats, a carousel, and the Viking swing ship. A separate two-story attraction called Snow World Cebu offers an air-conditioned indoor snow experience with ice sculptures and an ice slide, a novelty in a tropical setting. Anjo World functions as a full-day family outing rather than a quick stop, with food stalls, souvenir shops, and photo spots scattered around the grounds. It draws crowds from across Cebu and neighboring islands, especially on weekends and holidays, and is often paired with other South Road stops since it sits right along the highway south of the city.

Tips for Visitors
- 1 Buy tickets online in advance to skip queues, especially on weekends. Choose the unlimited-rides Day Adventure Pass if you plan to ride more than 3-4 attractions. Weekday visits are cheaper and far less crowded than weekends. Bring a jacket for Snow World since it stays well below room temperature.
How to Get There
From Cebu City, take a South Bus Terminal bus or a v-hire heading to Minglanilla/Naga/Toledo (30-45 minutes) and get off at Belmont One along the Cebu South Coastal Road; the park entrance is right off the highway. A taxi or ride-hailing app from downtown Cebu City takes about 45-60 minutes depending on traffic.
