The overview
About Badian Canyoneering
Badian Canyoneering is Cebu's most thrilling adventure activity and the second most popular tour in the province after whale shark watching. This adrenaline-pumping experience takes you through the stunning Kanlaob River canyon, featuring cliff jumps, natural water slides, swimming through turquoise pools, and trekking through spectacular jungle scenery. The adventure begins in the neighboring town of Alegria and ends at the famous Kawasan Falls in Badian, covering approximately 3-5 hours depending on group size and pace. Along the way, you'll navigate massive boulders, leap from cliffs up to 30 feet high into deep pools, slide down natural rock formations, and swim through crystal-clear canyon waters. The activity became famous after being featured on the TV show 'Biyahe ni Drew' and has since become a bucket-list experience for adventure seekers visiting Cebu. Since 2015, the activity has been regulated with accredited guides, safety equipment, and a daily capacity limit of 150 guests to ensure both safety and environmental protection.
