Baigad Lagoon Beach

About Baigad Lagoon Beach

Baigad Lagoon Beach is one of Bantayan Island's best-kept secrets, a tranquil coastal gem that soft-launched in 2022 and quickly became a favorite among travelers seeking a quieter beach experience. Located in Barangay Baigad on the eastern side of Bantayan Island, this destination offers calm, shallow waters perfect for swimming and relaxation. The beach is characterized by its unique lagoon setting, where mangrove forests meet the ocean, creating a picturesque backdrop for photos and peaceful contemplation. Unlike the busier beaches in Santa Fe, Baigad Lagoon Beach offers a more secluded atmosphere with fewer crowds, making it ideal for those who want to escape the tourist rush. Facilities include comfortable lounge chairs, hammocks for lazy afternoon naps, shaded areas, and lifeguards for safety. The shallow, calm waters make it suitable for families with children. On clear days, visitors can even see Virgin Island in the distance. The beach also serves as a stop for many Bantayan Island hopping tours.
