Tingko Beach

About Tingko Beach
Tingko Beach is one of southern Cebu's most beautiful public beaches, featuring a long stretch of fine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Located in Alcoy, this beach has become increasingly popular for its natural beauty that rivals more famous Cebu beaches, yet remains more accessible and affordable. The beach offers excellent swimming conditions with its calm, shallow waters and gradual slope, making it suitable for families with children. The white sand is soft and powdery, perfect for sunbathing and beach activities. Coconut palms line the shore, providing natural shade and completing the tropical paradise aesthetic. Tingko Beach has developed basic tourism infrastructure with cottages for rent, food stalls, and restroom facilities, while maintaining its natural charm. It's a popular weekend destination for Cebuanos and a refreshing stop for tourists exploring southern Cebu. The beach is often combined with visits to nearby attractions like Oslob whale sharks and the waterfalls of the region.
