Sunken Island

About Sunken Island
Sunken Island is one of the most spectacular and challenging dive sites in the Moalboal area. It's actually an underwater pinnacle rising from the deep, with its summit approximately 25 meters below the surface. Reaching this site requires dropping through 25 meters of open blue water, often with strong currents. The pinnacle attracts pelagic species and offers the chance to see larger marine life that you won't encounter on the coastal reefs. The exposed location means conditions can be challenging, but the rewards for experienced divers are significant. This is strictly an advanced dive site requiring good buoyancy control and comfort with blue water descents and potential currents.
