The overview

About Esoy Hot Spring

Esoy Hot Spring is one of only two known natural geothermal hot springs in Cebu, located in the uplands of Barangay Duyan, about 5 kilometers off the main highway. The facility centers on several naturally heated pools, developed into a small resort that also serves as the gateway to nearby Ka-Tinggo Falls. Beyond soaking in the sulfuric spring water, the site is set up for a half-day of adventure activities: river trekking, a short underground cave visit, a hanging bridge crossing, rock scrambling, fish feeding, and access to cliff-jumping spots at the adjoining falls. The operation runs strictly on reservations, with signage at the gate stating "no booking, no entry," and packages commonly include a guide and, if arranged in advance, a catered lunch. Because the whole experience is guided and bundled, it works well as a single booked outing that also covers Ka-Tinggo Falls, rather than a spot to show up at unannounced.
