About Kota Beach

Kota Beach is one of Bantayan Island's most iconic beaches, located in the heart of Santa Fe municipality. Known for its pristine white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a stunning shifting sandbar that appears during low tide, Kota Beach has become synonymous with the Bantayan Island experience. The beach stretches along the Santa Fe coastline, offering visitors the perfect setting for swimming, sunbathing, beach volleyball, and simply relaxing under the tropical sun. The shallow, calm waters make it ideal for families with children. During low tide, a beautiful sandbar emerges, creating picture-perfect photo opportunities and allowing visitors to walk out into the sea. While Kota Beach Resort sits along the beachfront as a private establishment, the beach itself is public and accessible to everyone. The area is lined with various accommodations, restaurants, and beach bars, making it the social hub of Bantayan Island's tourism scene. The name 'Kota' comes from the native term for watchtower or fortress, referencing the historic Spanish fort located nearby.
