Mainit Hot Spring

About Mainit Hot Spring
Mainit Hot Spring is a natural geothermal spring located in Malabuyoc, known for its therapeutic warm waters that have attracted visitors for generations. The name 'Mainit' means 'hot' in the local language, aptly describing the naturally heated waters that emerge from underground. The hot spring features several pools of varying temperatures, allowing visitors to find their comfort level. The mineral-rich waters are believed to have therapeutic properties, and locals have long used the springs for relaxation and to soothe muscle aches and skin conditions. The natural setting surrounded by trees and vegetation adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Facilities have been developed to accommodate visitors while maintaining the natural character of the site. Basic amenities include changing areas and resting cottages. Mainit Hot Spring offers a unique wellness experience on Cebu's southwestern coast, distinct from the island's typical beach attractions.
