Osmeña Peak

About Osmeña Peak
Osmeña Peak is the highest point on Cebu Island, standing at 1,013 meters above sea level. Located in Dalaguete, about an hour from Moalboal, this iconic viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of Cebu's rugged landscape and surrounding islands. The peak is famous for its unique jagged hill formations - a series of green, sharp-pointed hills often compared to the Chocolate Hills of Bohol. The unusual terrain was formed by ancient coral reefs that were pushed up from the sea floor millions of years ago. The hike to the summit is short and beginner-friendly, taking only 15-30 minutes from the trailhead. Despite the easy trek, the views at the top are spectacular, especially during sunrise or sunset when dramatic shadows dance across the undulating hills.
