Just 20-30 meters from shore, you can witness millions of sardines swirling in mesmerizing formations, while sea turtles graze on seagrass nearby. The house reef drops dramatically, creating a wall dive accessible right from the beach.

Tips for Visitors

1Visit early morning (6-7 AM) for the best sardine ball formations and fewer crowds. Bring reef-safe sunscreen. The beach is rocky, so water shoes are recommended. Snorkel gear can be rented for around PHP 100-150.

How to Get There

From Cebu City South Bus Terminal, take a bus to Moalboal (PHP 150-200, 3-4 hours). From Moalboal town proper, take a tricycle to Panagsama Beach (PHP 50-100, 10 minutes). If driving, head south on the main highway and follow signs to Panagsama.
