This beach is not your typical white sand paradise - it's a rocky shoreline that serves as the gateway to some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Philippines. The beach area is lined with dive shops, restaurants, bars, and accommodations catering to divers and backpackers from around the world. What makes Panagsama special is what lies beneath the surface. Just 20-30 meters from shore, you can witness millions of sardines swirling in mesmerizing formations, while sea turtles graze on seagrass nearby. The house reef drops dramatically, creating a wall dive accessible right from the beach.

How to get there
From Cebu City South Bus Terminal, take a bus to Moalboal (PHP 150-200, 3-4 hours). From Moalboal town proper, take a tricycle to Panagsama Beach (PHP 50-100, 10 minutes). If driving, head south on the main highway and follow signs to Panagsama.
