Temple of Leah

About Temple of Leah
The Temple of Leah is a stunning Roman-inspired structure perched on the hills of Busay, built as a monument of undying love. Cebuano businessman Teodorico Soriano Adarna commissioned the temple in 2012 as a tribute to his late wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna, earning it the nickname 'Cebu's Taj Mahal.' The temple features grand Greco-Roman architecture with towering columns, ornate sculptures, and brass statues depicting the couple and their life together. The sprawling 24-chamber structure sits on 8,000 square meters of land, offering panoramic views of Cebu City and the surrounding mountains. Each chamber represents different aspects of the couple's 53-year marriage and shared passions. Although still under continuous construction, the temple has become one of Cebu City's most popular tourist attractions. Visitors can explore the ornate chambers, admire the detailed craftsmanship, and enjoy the spectacular views. The temple also features a library, museum, and art gallery showcasing the Adarna family's collections.
